Open Heart Surgery Of an Arsenal Fan
Arsenal,Arsenal,Arsenal....a team to cry for and a theme for crying/need to cry. I would not go on today what Arsenal's problem is. I would just give people an insight of an Arsenal Fan who have supported them miles away,far off that it would take 6 hrs to make it to a game if i leave on the same day via a flight.I started supporting AFC at 1998-2000, i had the likes of Adams, Pires,Overmars, Bergkamp.Kanu, Dixon, De Boer, Parlour, et al. i remember when Arsenal brought Henry to the Highbury, i saw an Arsenal team full of promise, players that were growing and still performed at a level that they had a great following and appreciation even when they failed. Man United Feared us, Chelsea were the people that enjoyed 3-0's from Arsenal, I even didn't know up to 3 players in Tottenham, i never saw a loss greater than 3(and that am not sure). that's what we had. I can't say that we should have all that because things have changed over 12 yrs but we have to know how far down we are in order to get where we should be.
My Take
Arsenal football club is one which people have criticized and is almost the butt of all jokes which comes to a point.Paradigm Shift: The Board and Wenger should know that time has changed, they should take the trash, spend the cash and prepare for the victory bash as i say now,if they do so, they have a team with such an appeal to players that they need to take care of people such as walcott, Djourou, Squilacci and the rest of those people should not even grace the Gunner Shirt. Remember what happened to Madrid with the Perez Revolution....Arsenal needs that and Fast...
